The 3 days competition was just completed 2 hours ago. A lot of sub 40. Many sub 35. Some sub 30. :eek:

Wow, great flying all!! It strikes me as very intersting how these super fast runs all seem to take advantage of the change in wind direction right on the lip of the slope. I saw that in the videos of Lukas flying at the Rugen last year and I see it here. Basically keeping the model right on the lip to keep it from fighting any side winds. Then dipping in and out somewhat like dynamic soaring. There might be some interesting dynamics for the engineering types to model for this type of flying.
