New UHF product from Sid Huang...
Here are some basic specifications, few pictures of UHF set...


Frequency: 433MHz ISM band , FHSS
Power supply: TX 9-13V , RX 4.8-6V
Output power:
-high power mode - 500mW; 12V@180mA
-low power mode - 200mW; 12V@95mA
-micro power mode - 0.1mW for range test
RX sensitivity: -115dBm
RX channels: 12ch for controls, 1PPM out, 1RSSI out
RSSI output: 0-3.3V
Dimension TX: 806424mm , 125g
Dimension RX: 402612mm , 18g
Lowpass filter inside:) 900-1300MHZ rejection loss over 45dB, 2.4GHz band rejection loss over 40dB
Headtracker port


In set is included:
1 TX module
1 RX module
1 433MHz 3dBi 1/4 wave antenna for TX
1 2.15dBi 1/2 wave dipole antenna for RX
1 cable with connector for power supply and PPM input
1 cable with connector for Headtracker unit

For now i make some test with:
-tested on Futaba T6EX, Hitec Aurora9, Graupner MX22(PPM18)
-Mikrokopter,MultiWii,AeroQuad,OpenPilot = all work perfect,PPM out,FS settings,range...
-ground test with stock configuration = 24Km allmost LOS @500mW, RSSI at this distance 34%
-tested interferences on video RX = i cant find it :D (Lawmate and RaceWood video RX)
-tested side by side with ChainLink = work withouth problems
-tested Headtrackers (X1000,SkyEye GeoMag) = perfect
-failsafe = work in all conditions
-MultiMaster SmartSync option (control one RX with many TX)= tested, it work :D

First there was DRAGONlink, then came CHAINlink, now RANGElink? Rangelink also sounds awfully like Rangevideo...

It's another easy osd! :rolleyes:


Besides the confusing name, it sounds like an awesome product. Multi receiver control sounds very cool!

Ohh. I didn't realize Rangelink and Chainlink were related. I thought it was a rip off the chainlink name. That makes a little more sense. :)

both was designed by myself, all the same ,just change the name to rangelink

Incredibly interested. Any testing done yet with DX8 Spektrum transmitters?

Multi control is only one of options ;)
OSD - o yea, be prepaired for it...one more sweet product with full stabilization, 6DOF + baro, autopilot...:D

Come aggiornare il chainlink
 
Salve, ho comprato il chainlik nel mese di giugno 2011 e penso che non aggirnato il firmware, come faccio a sapere se aggiornato? e se non come dovrei aggiornarlo, dovrei acquistare il programmatore a parte? visto che bevrc non lo fornisce, poich ho letto su un forum che se non aggiornato non attiva la funzione rth su rvosd.
Aspetto qualche chiarimento da qualche esperto, grazie

Hi, I bought chainlik in June 2011 and I think that it is not refreshed the firmware, how do I know if it is updated? and if it's not like I need to upgrade, should I buy the controller separately? bevrc seen that does not provide them, as I read on a forum that is not updated if no active function of rth rvosd.
