suitable wheels to take off the beach (wet sand)

hi,

i fly my helis on the beach no problem here,

but i like to take a few planes with me as well..... nitros 40 size and smaller.
so what wheels/tires are best to take off and land on the beach with wet sand?
(just wet not watery it doesn't splash)

best as in what would have less drag. rubber? foam? something else?

DuBro rubber should work fine. I don't think foam would be very good, they would pick up moisture and get heavy, then pick up sand. ENJOY !!! RED

Big balloon tyres would be good, the more surface area the less they'll dig in, harder solid tyres will tend to dig in.

Trexler pneumatics are nice, as you can very the pressure to suit the terrain, so for rough ground, inflate them a little softer than usual.

Trexler No11G wheels are 4.5" in diameter, and will support a model up to 15lbs

great,i didn't know inflatable wheels exist, but my planes are 40 size and smaller.... so 2'' - 21/4 wheels would be the biggest i need....

Round ones?????

You want to use some larger round smooth rubber tires/wheels as the smooth round shape will help keep the wet sand from sticking to it so much.
