How about a way to add RC sailing or powerboating sites?

More info added :)

Slope-soaring sites as own category, maybe?

Tryed to enter our club site , but it tells me we have an invalid
web site.???????

Very cool idea :)

Good idea.
This WILL take off and it WILL need better filters.

Need more catagories and filters though.

Example:

Power planes
Electric flying
Soaring only
Slope soaring
Control Line
Free Flight
Turbine Flying
etc.....

Also you should add contact info and optional AMA club number.

I found that in order for it to accept the website, I had to enter the FULL URL including the http://www.
So, instead of: fastrakhobby.com
it had to be: http://www.fastrakhobby.com
Once I added that, it worked fine for me.

Hope that helps!

Great feature! Adding info for my area.

It helps to place the markers in satellite view. I initially didn't do this and the location of a coule of mine is off by a few hundred feet. I'd also like to add or revise/update the info.

How about letting the OP edit the info and/or slightly move the marker?

Excellent idea. I've already run into that one myself!

By simply having the website info you can go to it and get specifics, only guessing. But I do like this idea.

West Coast adding sites..

Fine idea. I have been Frustrated many times when I am traveling and want
to find a hobby store or, better, a field to watch people fly and meet local RC
folks. It's difficult sometimes. I loaded up some San Francisco/Peninsula sites.

I hope this gets loaded up!

I am even putting a field that I visited in Thailand this year!

Let see if we can make this the go-to reference :)

Website for non-official sites...

I have added weather websites for sites that are unofficial. It might be good to allow for alternate websites in cases where there are club sites and alternate weather, webcam sites that will be useful also?...
