New Nine Eagles Helis - Consolidated

This post is merely for reference & organisational purposes only. I suggest talking about each individual heli in their respective threads.

Here's a summary of the new and upcoming Nine Eagles Helicopters:

I'll update and amend information as it becomes available.

Good initiative, Nine Eagles is suddenly releasing a lot these days, so it's hard to keep track.

Frank - That is a great summary. My 328 is on order and I've got my future eye on the 100D.

I think you might have a typo on the length of the 180? s/b 300mm?

Model: Solo Pro 180 3D (120 sized collective pitch single rotor with rudder pitch control - flybarless.)
Length: 200mm
Weight: 105g
Battery: 3.7V 600mAh

Hey y'all

Any new info?

#8 momomo Jun 24, 2011 05:16 PM

Here's new info.
http://www.hitecrcd.co.jp/RC/nine_ea...ro1803d/sp.htm
It seems that it differs fairly from V120D02.
And Very expensive.
35,700 JPY is about 445 USD

#9 Frank_fjs Jun 24, 2011 10:56 PM

Thanks for the new info.

I don't think it differs from the V120D02 very much at all, even the RX looks near identical to a Walkera RX.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to the price, helicopters are generally a lot more expensive in Japan and they have different taxes.

I think they must have borrowed ideas from Walkera but finally they are just similar as any helicopter to another. From the pictures at http://www.hitecrcd.co.jp/RC/nine_ea...ro1803d/sp.htm what reminds me the V120 is just the skids, battery cage, the color of RX and the fact that it is torque tube and FBL.
The servo placement is different as it is the swashplate, more similar to bigger helis.
The motor is placed under the frame.
The main gear seems smaller but we cannot see how the torque tube connects to main gear.
The head reminds a Walkera head cause of the swash to link stabilizers, seems like more a V120D01 hub or 4#6, V370D01 etc.

What about the older Solo Pro I & II and more?
It would be interesting to include all the SPs in this thread.

Could be, although the thread would have to be renamed, since these are not new heli's. However, the Solo Pro 270 (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1528210) is a new one, that could be added here. We'll see what Frank does.
