The time is quickly approaching. I hope you guys are able to make it again this year. It's shaping up to be even larger than last year's event. We have received our AMA Sanction. Sanction # 11-1630.

We will open the field on Friday afternoon so that the guys that want to camp can set up and enjoy the evening flying.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Thanks.

How far is your field from gatlingburg, pigeon forge area

Gatlinburg is about 45 minutes from the field and Pigeon Forge is about 30 minutes from the field. There is lots to do and lots of places to stay in this area.

We will be having a raffle again this year with many great items donated by the local hobby shops.

Our pit is covered and has A/C electric charging stands for the electric flyers. We have individual flight stands for setting up your heli's. We also have a pavilion for getting in out of the sun for a bit.

Bring all of the items that you would like to clear out of the hanger for our swap meet.

We will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs with chili and baked beans for lunch so come hungry. :)

There are several of us that will be flying Friday evening and then just hanging out and catching up. We hope that everyone can join us.

Tim.

The weather is looking great for Saturday. High of 88 and a 10% chance of rain. The hurricane will have little, if any, impact on the fun!

Hope to see you there!!!
