Nine Eagles Solo Pro 328 (Nine Eagles' answer to the Blade 120 SR?)
One of the new helis Nine Eagles is coming with this year, the Solo Pro 328:

Considering the weight and rotor size, it seems to be pitted against the popular Blade SR 120.

Some specs can be found here: http://www.hitecrcd.co.jp/RC/nine_ea...opro/index.htm

A new product from Nine Eagles? Consider it sold !

Absolutely love all 3 of my nine eagle helis, making this an easy decision.

I dunno if this is legit, but the only video available.

So when can we expect this obviously better and cheaper than 120 sr heli? Hopefully next month!!

Looks interesting. Overall I quite like the design but am a little concerned by the servos and how exposed they appear.

Not sure whether I will want one or not, it really depends on price.

Long as you're not taking off and landing in a dessert I wouldn't worry about it.

But it couldn't hurt if they placed a snap off part that covers them, not really anything concerning.

As long as Nine eagles doesn't start selling 200 dollar pieces of excrement like some that wont be named and begin with a W, then I'm happy to supply their wallets for my entertainment.

It will be interesting to see the initial RRP on this.

If I recall correctly, the Solo Pro debuted at $120 and has dropped in price considerably over time. It will be interesting to see the starting price of this 328, you would think it will be priced higher than a Solo Pro so my guess is somewhere around the $160 mark.

Upon further inspection, the servos don't appear as bad as I originally thought. The servo motors seem to be adequately protected:

This is the part that looks worrying to me:

According to the Japanese site, it's RRP is 16,800 YEN which is around $205 US. Things in Japan tend to be more expensive and they have different taxes to us, so I hope it ends up being available for cheaper than that. I had originally anticipated around $160 but now am thinking it might be more around the $180 mark.

I'm not sure if anyone else is having trouble viewing the video, I am so I'm downloading it and will re-uploaded to YouTube when it's done.

Here's the video:

Nine Eagles Solo Pro 328 (3 min 43 sec)

Looks like it wants some room to scream around.

Tail hold looks good on that vid. Also the heli keeps a steady altitude. Bring on those outdoor vids, I also get the feeling this one might be quite a bit faster than the Solo Pro, when given some space.

It does look quite fast. Even though speed wasn't demonstrated in the video it really looked like it was itching to go, as if the heli were screaming at the pilot to move those sticks. Just wasn't enough space unfortunately, but this does show that it is stable.

The first video shows some forward speed, but only for 2 seconds.

A couple more vids to keep us entertained until someone gets their hands on one:

GEKI ヘリコプター ナインイーグル Solo Pro 328 Vol.1 (2 min 10 sec)

SOLO PRO 328.MOV (0 min 49 sec)

It seems to handle really well, judging by the first vid in your most recent posting, Frank. It flies nimbly and very controlled through that shop, tail response seems very solid. Piros not very fast, but on the spot, not like the Solo Pro that goes into a spiral unless the gyro setting has been altered.
