WOW... I saw this on HobbyKing Live Tweets. I am probably behind the curve ball and am the last one to know about or see this plane.

Could anyone tell me who is making/selling this? I would like to see more...

Sorry but it's a P 40

Yea... Just realized, and fixed that... I was so impressed by the size, I didnt really pay attention to what the plane was...

Judging by the size and the looks of it I wouldn't be surprised if it was made by Starmax...Looks to be the same size as the 1600mm Starmax P-51...Props look like the same ones on my Starmax P-51 but at that angle it's hard to tell...

P-40N, so nice...FAQ info added 8/28/13

Very interesting to see this fresh approach to the classic P-40 series. Notice that the wing appears to be designed as a one piece arrangement. Like it much!

Go here for FAQ information: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...postcount=4474 (Page 299). Also, use the "attachments in thread" tool to find image thumbnails which indicate points of interest and posts for them.

For those building an ARF and using the NTM 270Kv motor, go here for good instructions to get the spinner adapted: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...postcount=8633 (added 10/06/14)

Paint scheme aside, don't you guy's think that out of all the P-40 arfs out there that this one looks more like it?

Yes, and it's a first for a late version. Rethinking the size, this seems larger to me than 1400 - 1500 mm. Now, if they can get the dihedral accurately built in, a big plus.

There was mention some weeks back that some 2 meter sized models were coming out soon, do you all think this one could be that large?

Additional: The color scheme is of a P-40N flown by a Major Ben Preston of the 13th FG. (Thanks, Bajora :o)

Well looking at the picture it seems as long as my Hawker Hurricane 60 unless the guy is small, so, I would like to say somewhere between 40 and 60 size,

Yep...My Starmax P-51 is 1600mm...And yes, this one looks more scale than others that I've seen...And the paint scheme is refreshing rather than the same ole shark's tooth versions!!!

Sure wish that there was more info on it!!!
