Howdy,

One of our new releases for 2011. The "Swist" F5D from our friend Artem in Russia. This model is available with, or without flaps. The wing in 2pc, double carbon, super stiff. The fuse is kevlar and big for lots of lipos.
See picture with 5S 4100... 6S will fit! ;)
See this model in person at the AMA show in Ontario CA Jan. 7, 8, 9, 2011 at our Mega bling booth!
Should be on site in the next week or so. Priced like Jibe, and Viper...
Meanwhile, questions?

Happy New Year!
Bob

Bob what sized pack is that? Is the fuse long like the viper for a gb? Looks awesome, will try and make the show... Looks like good timing if i can hide my wallet and not find it by then :)

Edit just saw the pic description, that is a huge pack, looks promising!

Whats the wingspan? Sweet looking!

That's nice Bob. Who is the builder (Artem)? I hope to see it at the show. Any info for the airfoil thickness or span? The 2 piece wing will be a popular feature.

Bob, nice looking plane! Looks like expert build work also.

But just wondering, F5B size power pack in F5D size plane and 2 part wing. Will it stay in one piece?!!!

:(

Do they do 1 piece wings also?

:)

Joe,
I don't think we will be using that HUGE pack in an F5D I did it to show size.
But, the joiner appears sufficient, and I am confident up to the job... ;)

Tom,
got you covered!
Give me a call tomorrow.

Happy New Year to all!

I love that it takes a huge pack. I only fly for sport so a nice 1300 watt 5s setup would be easy on a 4000mah pack with tons of runtime. Add flaps to slow that heavy setup for landings and it's the plane of my dreams. Too bad xmas is over.

Well if there is room, people will fit big packs and rightly so.

It's not the power of the setup i am worried about either, it's the weight of the pack in combination with the flying speeds.

The other 2 piece wing F5D size plane by the name of Plasma didn't seem to be up to the task;
