Overview
The P-51B Mustang was the first Mustang to match North American’s sleek airframe with the awesome power of a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. It was this Mustang that gave the Allies their first truly capable bomber escort and Luftwaffe pilots their first taste of things to come. The E-flite Platinum Series P-51B Mustang 32e ARF expertly captures the look and feel of this landmark WWII fighter with a scale outline so faithful to form as to be practically indistinguishable from the real thing. Keep in mind the engineering in theis kit as well as the complexity of the build is far beyond anything ever offered in this size or weight category. You can't get something for nothing.

I understand it isn't cheap, but we are not known for low cost models in this category. They are top notch and have some features you can not get anywhere else.

I personally think that this plane is beautiful. I am not a Mustang fan but this is my favorite out of all of them. With all the options you and your team have put into this plane what you are asking is not unreasonable. I would gladly pay it if I had a club or something other than a park to fly in. I think it is a wonderful addition to the Horizon line and I hope it does well enough to warrant more planes in the Platinum line.

In the last year I have found that you get what you pay for when it comes to Quality and reliability.

John, Do you know when we might have a video on this baby yet? Also, which retractable tail wheel do you guys recommend and are there any pics going to be posted of the battery compartment?

The tail wheel is the Robart 122 mini tail wheel. We have the mount in it but you have to do the rest fo the work. Unfortunately we have to draw the line somewhere.

Video will probably be another two weeks. Our videographer is out this week.

It looks like the top front of the Fuselage is the battery comp(I hope).
I hate to remove wings to get to the battery!

from the back of the cowl to the nose cone hey? I would hope so, otherwise it would be a pain to change them out.

I've had 2 planes that needed a screwdriver to change batteries and Unlike some other guys I refuse to carry and electric one to the field LOL.
I think I see a seam in the photos that would indicate a hatch.
