Headplay won't boot..who can identify the burned up parts?
I bought a used headplay.

The goggles worked fine until today when I tried to fly fpv. I connected the plug to my 12V 7A scooter battery and pressed the start button, but nothing happened.

I opened the box up and found the failure.

Who does have this "Liberator" box and is willing/able to identify the burned parts so I can try to replace them.

Who can help me

Hmmm. That problem looks very familiar. Are you sure you didn't hook up a power supply with the wrong polarity?

I think you had this problem before?
What did you do?

Wrong polarity?:
I don't think so. At least I didn't switched it on with wrong polarity.

Today before switching (trying to) on the liberator I hooked up an external 3" tv screen just to see the video signal before using the headplay.

Kai can u get a super close-up picture of the burn out?

No. Not me. This guy: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1287942

Looks like you cooked the exact same inductor as he did. Unfortunately no one knows the value of this SMD device yet.

This element have code L11, i just look around for some details, dimension are 1,60,80,8mm and that can be some block capacitor

Here you go. Looks like an 0805 sized inductor (component marked L11). I'd guess a standard value of 10uH or 15uH. Unfortunately I don't have the LCR meter with me so I can't test it to tell you the actual value. I don't think the exact value is going to be critical in this case although the current rating would be.

I have a broken left visor mirror/glass.
I am willing to buy your goggles if you could not fix the liberator box.

You guys are great.

Now I hope to get this 10uH so I can try to fix my liberator.

The other post ends without telling if a repair could be done.
