The Losi 1/24-scale 4WD Micro SCT and Rally Car

I have had a sneak peak at Losi and that they are releasing a couple micro's

That is all i have for you guys at the moment but will get this post updated with more info as i receive it.

But basically, it's a 1/24 micro 4WD Rally car and Short Course Truck. Oil filled shocks. Front and rear gear box with shaft drives (aparently very durable depending on how your slipper clutch is set).

Sadly it has a 27mhz AM radio instead of 2.4ghz. I was expecting it to follow the way of the micro crawler. Big booo for this. I want Bind 'N' drive.

Maybe later but for now it's only about $110 RTR the Bind "N" Drive will be more. Just bought a Micro T with the 27 mhz it works well.

+1 on this but sorry to disapoint but i've had it staight from the horses mouth that no BnD model is planned for the foreseeable future.

i think that bnd is a nice option, but i don't think it's practical enough yet to be good for cars. i mean yeah it's good for people with an expensive spektrum radio, but with options from futuba and airtronics that are just as good, i'd rather just get a rtr and sell the complete 27 mhz system for a little more than a reciever. it is nice for planes, but there aren't better options yet that aren't as good as a spektrum in price. there are for cars already.

so i am glad there is no bind n drive of this.

I cant wait to see the rally car in action, it has my interests.

I hate those 5 wire servo system. They must make it that way to force the consumer to use their products. To upgrade my small truck is more than the cost of the truck itself. Because of that, I don't think I will buy a Losi product again.

I cant agree with you more. My mini-t had those 4 wire servos which were horrible, after buying 3 of them and having them all go bad. I was forced to spend $300 in upgrades on my mini-t just to make it work well. It sure wasnt worth the $450 I had into it.:censored:

I bought a micro-t a while ago and the 27 mhz radio system is always getting glitches. Its not even fun to drive because of it. After having two Losi vehicles that dont work well and require major upgrades Im not going to be buying another one either.

To me the 1/24 rally car and SC truck look too much like a toy to me.

I have had exactly the same problem. I upgraded my mini-T to brushless which cost me an arm and a leg. Then I upgraded my Micro-T to the losi brushless system and the 27mhz rx and I am also getting crazy glitches with it and the range is only like 35 feet.. never again.

You guys think a Mamba Micro-Pro set-up would work on this car? I already want more speed out of mine:D I'll try the 2s li-po first and look into a brushless set-up for it.
