Passive Build

She is finished.

After what seems like a very long time (ordering parts, waiting for parts, and building), my Passive is finally complete and ready to fly. :D

Seeing as how this was my first proper build, it turned out a lot better than I expected. This is a credit to Mikes design/building methods and guidance along the way.

So thanks a lot Mike.

Here she is...

The maiden will be on the weekend if the weather is OK.
I have the GoPro mounted with rubber bands at the moment, I'm waiting for the GoPro tripod adapter, which is on the way, and will be mounted using a nylon bolt and velcro.

Stay tuned for the video. I'm nervous :D

Beautiful

I just watched your video on Youtube - the sunrise at fishermans beach one. Thinking about building one of these. What kind of glue did you use to put ply on foam? How did you do the camera mount? I have a Gopro that I use on various aircraft and other cams as well.

Thanks!

Hi Ken,

I followed the build thread here

White gorilla glue is used to secure the ply to the foam.
