Sweet! This should be a great thread!

Here are a couple of the DWs that we have owned and painted. There are a lot more that I don't have pics of.

Here is a bunch of them

Here is a little freestyle that I made with my 38" yak. I had only flown it 2 times so it is not the best but I had fun!

^Wow, nice collection of foamies :)

I've got a nice pile of (ab)used DW's outside that I still need to strip and toss.

Gotta hand it to Mike at DW for making such great flying planes :)

Here's some stuff I've had in the past.

Ok, we need to have more options on the poll since we've owned almost all of them. lol

Michael already posted the pictures of most of ours, so I won't bother. Here are some videos of my foamies from the last year and a half though:

I know, I've owned all the sizes :D

(besides the BAF Skua).

What else do we need up on the poll choices?

A free plane give away.

Soo, I know you all have wanted to see some video of night flying..

DW Foamies Gen-X 38" (5 min 12 sec)

I know the video quality isn't the greatest, but hey, what do you expect from a still image camera? ;)

Actually, I don't think you're going to get great footage unless you've got a camera with a manual focus, manual zoom, and a very good CCD.. (might cost you $1-3k  )

Cameras tend to not like night time..

Awesome looking planes guys! I must admit that I'm a lazy builder and prefer to buy pre-painted planes. Some of my mates must be lazy builder too, as when we bought a bunch of the Jr. kits we bought the decal kits as well and just stuck those on.

Sharpies work well too, and simple lines can look good :)

And the vynils that you can get for the DW kits do look pretty good :)

I read some of your post and i would like to have your opinion please.

I fly HK450 heli, Gemini multiplex plane and in past i had the typhoon 2 3d that i sold cause .... weird plane.

I plan to buy a Dw foamies 48" i will use 40amp esc turnigy, turnigy motor TR c3536-1000, 2200 mah lippo, and HXT900 servos (i already use them in plane and heli) My transmitter is a Spetkrum Dx6i

1- Do you think its a good setup ?

2- i never build this kind of plane, foam safe CA adn kicker is ok ? or what is better ?

Thanks for your answer and excuse my english im french from quebec, canada !

My favorite glue is fast set gorilla glue. It cost a lot less than ca and holds much stronger. I like to glue and then tape to hold together. Then you can just peal the tape back off. Good luck
