Saw a thread on this in another modeling forum and it was quite interesting how folks set up what space they have to pursue their hobby.

I'll seed the tip jar with a dollar:

My 12 x 30 shed is why I bought my house. Recently christened The Damn Yankee Work Shop, a play on Norm Abrams shop/show by CaptMSR who comes over to use the bigger tools from time-to-time.

So, where do you make your sawdust?

There are several other threads on work shops or work spaces already, one more won't hurt.

Workshops [AKA] Drydocks
On the workbench
Yippee! - Room For Workimg

Couldn't resist going back through those threads. The first one Bob lists seems to be the largest. ;)

I think there may still be a few more "workshop" threads hiding out there though---. :)

I'm sorry, I searched and all the hits I got (ok I only looked at the first five pages of them) seemed to be mentions of work spaces inside other threads.

I should have looked from the last page of hits forward.
