Well one airframe came today form US Customs, but it was the F-35. So the XB-70 looks like tomorrow I hope!

Here are some more photos. This baby is long alright. Looks like a 4S2650mah will fit OK (see photo). I do plan on using my new outrunner, I think 750 watts will be perfect.

Thanks for the pics Don. How's the foam quality? Typical GWS type stuff or ?? Was this the fixed or retract kit? Are you going gearless/bellyland?

#12 The Don Sep 03, 2009 10:23 PM

The foam on this is the same as all these foamy EDFS nothing special. I got the retracts, they are the same as the ones in the F-35 kit. I am thinking belly lander. I have no real place to ROG with such small wheels.

EasyTiger models had one of these at last weekend's E-Jets in Grove City. His had several flights on it he claimed and the wingtips had been reglued a few times it looked like. He flew lots of other planes on Saturday but never flew this one--the only one I wanted to see him fly!

Any progress on yours Don?
