Cheapest Hyperion G3 CX 5000mAh 6S 22.2V 25C/45C Lipo Pack

Does anyone know where I can get a G3 CX 5000mAh 6S 22.2V 25C/45C Lipo for the least amount of money?

I Googled them and see everyone is the same at $190, but my question is, do any of these places have coupon codes like Tower or Amainhobbies where if I spend $200 or $250 I get $25 bones off? (where did you buy yours)?

Maybe someone has a new one they want to turn into cash?

I have a 600esp and I really want to try one of these packs to see the difference between it and my Flightmax and Turnigys - Thanks :) Jim

I got all of mine at ALLERC.com but all they will offer is free shipping if you spend over $100.00! But I guarantee once you try them you'll never go back to the Flightmax, as long as you can afford them. Hope you have a good charger, because I charge my 2500Mah at 7Amps and they eat it up & come back for more!!!

Sounds great, so then would you say there's no need to spend the extra $30 bucks for the VC 35C, that the CX should do the trick?

Does Readyhili have a coupon code?

I guess it just depends on the application, I fly helicopters so I use the VX but for flying planes you can probably just use the CX. After a 7 minute flight in my heli the battery isn't even warm!!

We're talking a T600 esp - (about as demanding on a single 6s as you're going to get) -

The Flightmax holds up admirably IMHO but I want to try the Hyperion, (or move straight to 12s) - one of the two - :)

From what I read, the CX 25C/45C should certainly have more punch than a Flightmax or Turnigy -

Jim - :)

p.s. - Thanks for the link Ben - ;)

Great Question, (I wanted to start a 2nd thread between the two) -

I'm pretty knowledgeable about lipos and I understand that a 35C pack will work less than a 25C pack, (and last longer) - but is it really needed/better?

I am drawing peak burst amps of 100 on the 6s T600 esp -
(the CX has 150a available continuous, and 270 burst amps available)

What difference would I notice if the VX were giving me 210a constant, and 390 burst amps available?

The pack does not force watts into the speedy, it is drawn out as requested by the hs and pitch of the blades -

So not wanting to sound like a know-it-all here, but would I really be able to tell the difference?

(I would hate to settle for the CX if the VX would provide a noticible difference in power) -

Anyone is more than free to comment, so please add your input - thanks - Jim - :)

Slightly less Voltage depression on the VX versus the CX, the more Volts, the more power.

Also temperature of the motor, esc, and battery. Lower temps equal longer lasting!
