Very interesting. I hope the aluminum piece is only a master from which much lighter materials will be moulded. :)

Boy does that look HEAVY !

Since there is no hole from the fenestron tail to the heli body... I suspect it is using motor to drive a fixed pitch fan blades?

I have not seen it hands on yet, am limited to discuss details at this time.
It will be belt driven and will have blade pitch control.

You may be right SH. If this is the case it really can't be called a fenestron tail.

From their website, it is belt driven. Although the photo is there, it is too small to show any detail.

I also inquired pricing and dimension of the quad rotor and scale blades. At $154 plus shipping, I can't understand they only sell combo. No full dimensions and weight given on the blades, they only mentioned 305mm length.

Are we talking about HeliArtist as BT did when he started this thread or is it Rush ??? From past experience I know they could be one in the same, but it's confusing and I don't think they are the same in this case. I see no similarities between what was in the pics BT posted and what is showing on Rush heli's website.

BT can sort this out since he is working with HeliArtist.

Cheers - Boyd;)

Yeah, you are correct; hope BT can clarify this. May be I am mixing things up here.

Well, we know that the "Rush" EC135 is belt driven, variable pitch. Not known the tail to main rotor RPM ratio though.

But this HeliArtist may not be the same as Rush version.

BTW, I think the Rush EC135 not available to public yet.

The Rush ec fuselage is from us , the fan tail is made in plastic that very same the hirobo and plastic case , it is very limited thin material and very little metal parts .but the cg is very diffcult to blance they are highly commend for 4s lipo /2300mah battery and 3800 kv .I have join their test fly in hk .It fly ok ! just upgrade the power set ! After sew this metal ring i don't belive offer good balance in the fly preformance ,if this version are motor tail that is more diffcult to balance !Anyway that is my personal commend :D

The Rush fenestron looks very similar to the HeliArtist fenestron.

Yes ! the fuselage mold is same from us ,the rush heli test fly in last summertime ,until now become a year to develope so it is a little bit diffcult model ,We help a lot work to less the weight (tail) ,but still need big battery to balance ,The other mistake is the fan outside too much material area (too big) !not so scale ,if the fan make smaller that is not enough power to push the tail !
