Thanks for posting Jürgen. I love the Udet Flamingo. It's like a big parkflyer. The tail was off the ground after about two feet. I noticed that the SR-71's jet exhaust glows red. I'm guessing that was a special effect?

Hi Tom.

it has become quite popular to add rings of bright LEDs to the nozzles of model jets to simulate afterburners. They even flicker a bit when turned on.

Cool. I haven't seen that before. Thanks again Jürgen.

Enjoyed watching those vids, cheers for posting them & the pics.

Nice to see a few new models I am not familiar with.

I also liked the Udet Flamingo :D Amazing that it flies so slowly.

The SR71 landing looked a bit on the heavy side, bit too slow maybe. I'd of let it build up a bit more speed on take off too before pulling back on the stick. Made it up and back down in one piece though, which is all that matters I suppose :)

Damn big model of it though, very nice

The SR-71 suffered quite some damage during this landing. You can't drop a model weighing >80lbs from that height and expect to get away unharmed. ;)
