Align, Tarot, CopterX

I just noticed there's a new trex clone by "Tarot"

(website)

Anyone try it? Comperable to CopterX? Align?

Of course it claims to be 100% compatible with Align parts. For various values of 100%?

I'm interested because my boss told me to embrace globalization and free trade agreements with non-free countries as I train my Chinese replacement, so I thought I'd look into this new Chinese clone of the Trex.

currently flying an increasingly worn out Art-tech Falcon 3D,

Hi, I just built my CopterX 500 which has all the metal upgrades for the Align T500 and also comes with CF blades. Simply awesome machine and no further need for upgrading. Got it from ehirobo.com for US$249.

CopterX sure looks nice, thanks for the vote of confidence.

My interest currently lies with what appears to be the brand new "Tarot" clone:

US$106.27 Tarot 450SE V2 GF Kit (airframe only)
US$206.02 Tarot 450SE V2 GF Kit (with bat, esc, motor, servos)

Those are stunningly low prices - and it claims to be 100% part-compatible with Align.

curiously,

I just picked up one of these:
http://www.snhobbies.com/product_inf...roducts_id=172

$160 for all metal heli, motor, and esc with free shipping. Was hard to pass up. Can't wait to compare the quality with my other helis to see if they skimped on metal quality and stuff. Says it's 100% compatible with t-rex. I'll be checking that as well.

i bought one of the EXI450 clones for $50....it has the plastic head, and it flies pretty freakin solid! i really haven't heard any bad rap on the Copter X stuff either :)
