johnny_00 Hi

I resume this old thread because i need an info about a Dji S800 and a Zenmuse Z15N.

The gimball z15 with a S800 needs 6S power. The stock s800 gimbal connection is only 14.8v.

So i ask if i can connect the z15 directly to s800' s 6s lipo pack with a double connector.

Please let me know

Thank you

Keenan smith Im actually looking for as many S800evo as possible, im currently machining parts and upgrades to bring it right back in line with some of the more modern rigs and will run modded INav on F7 FC, new and improved motor mounts, and carbon fibre boom arms which adapt it to be able to run 17inch props which also drastically increase the payload and also increases flight times at normal payloads

So guys hit me up as i want to purchase your rigs!!!
Also will be selling upgrade parts

I'd like to able to do this following waypoints and avoiding objects, but all the while, being within a certain minimal distance from each object. Can this be done just using the assistant or will I need to use the SDK?

It sounds like the assistance for Guidance is no longer maintained, this does not give me a warm fuzzy regarding it. It also sounds like the assistant for A3 has been dumbed down (all according to dji forum posts), also not contributing to a warm fuzzy.

Any inputs, suggestions, recommendations, links to online examples, etc, would be greatly appreciated.

If it's believed that this should be it's own thread, I'd be glad to do that.

Thanks...
I don't think many people have these model of drones anymore as they have all been discontinued, to make way for the newer technologies. Hopefully you were able to get an answer to your question.

jabu32 Need some help pleeeease.

Setting up a s900 with a pixhawk 2.1 and x8r.

I got the pixhawk all setup and plugged the lipo in to test out. I tested the landing gear and they worked just fine. Everything seemed good.

I went to arm and noticed only 4 of the 6 esc initialize. I think it was 1&4 or 1&5 that didn't arm. I gave some throttle and the 4 that were armed spun up briefly then shut off and wouldn't spin again. I noticed the lipo was a little warm and measured the cells which showed one dead cell. This was an older lipo so I just thought it went bad. I threw another on and it almost welded the connectors together.

I measured the resistance of the input power connector and it showed a short. I checked each esc and it looks like motor 2 was the problem.

What could have caused this? I checked everything and I didn't hook anything up backwards.

Had this happened to anyone else?

Mac176 Looking to fix-up an old DJI S800 / S800 EVO or need ZenMuse parts?

True story, I bought out the remaining parts storage warehouse for the old DJI U.S. HQ that was here in Austin, TX. I have them up on ebay and for a way lower price than you will find anywhere.

See my eBay store for other S800 and ZenMuse Z15 parts!

rickbrad Is it okay to mention I have some heavy lift motors for sale here? I have some Cobra CM4520/14-400Kv and some KDE 4215XF-465Kv motors. These can be packaged with or without ESCs. Anyone thinking of building a heavy lift AP rig will not find a better deal.
