kenelder The AJ aircraft 51” Slick v2 is nearly the same as the original- it has small changes to improve over the original and indeed flies great. I still have my original “wonder bread” scheme AJ Slick and it is a truly great airplane. If you find one I’d say grab it!!

SteveT. Andrew Jesky was/is the original designer of the Slick. So. I guess he can legally sell the plane.

cale10 A V2 51” Slick is currently being produced and flys just as good as the original. Not exactly sure why the competitors model is linked above.

The 52" Slick 580 is a savage beast. I'm hoping we get a restock because I biffed my yellow one.

Better is a matter of opinion, but personally, I much prefer the new Slicks 580. The new planes are much more solid and they can take a pretty good lick. Generally all the new Extreme Flight planes re so nice you aren't going to believe it.

SteveT. Well, if you don't want it, please say so, and I'm sure others will want it.

Better snap that up. A friend has one with a 3910 and DS150 servos and it's really mega. The equipment has finally caught up with the planes.

LanceMc About a year ago I bought a Motrolfly 3615 from a buddy. He threw in a slightly damaged (I call it orange ) 51 Slick. It was easy to repair. I really enjoy flying it. I was/am surprised by how well it does lo and slo 3D, as it had built it's reputation as a great tumbler.

jfv61 Agreed. I still have a red one that's a pleasure to fly. My "fantasy blue" one needs minor repairs, need to get to that one of these years
