Here is my 5 year old GWS de Havilland DHC-2 Beaver. It's very light weight and the slowest plane at the field. I've done some gliding at higher altitudes and it's fun, smaller packs can make it glide longer. Take offs are half throttle from hand launch or ground. Flights at constant 45% throttle are over 40 minutes on 1200mAh. The power system draws about 1-1.9Amps to fly. Unlimited vertical at full throttle (lol not very scale, but neither is the plane). Great handling is matched with a good stock power system that is easy to launch, fly, and land. I have included some build points and notes about the Center of Gravity vs the specs in the manual, along with my upgrades to a 10 blade fan. Read on by clicking on the Comments...
