Having fun with the baja,really digging 5th scale cars lately.

HPI Baja 5sc DDM 29cc Sunday (2 min 46 sec)

Took off the body and mounts and side guards etc while i tried the 29cc ddm motor in the losi 5ive. Got my new ddm 29cc for the losi and put everything back in the baja and figured id run it a little without the extra 4.5+lbs the body and parts add.Got the body back on now.

Really digging the 5th scale trucks. Would really like to see losi make a 2wd 5th scale based off the 22 sct but super sized like they did with the losi 5ive(considerably lighter though than the 5ive). Having the hpi and losi and having both 2wd and 4wd trucks in 5th scale is nice for real world comparison. Who knows.. maybe losi already has similar things in mind and is testing. I'll probably get another motor for the 5ive,been very happy with the 29cc stuffed crank motor in the baja,really like the throttle response and it seems to have a bit more pep than the 26cc stockers without breaking the bank and should be just right with a tuned pipe for me in the 5ive.
