Great weather except for wind.. still had some fun .

Well as usual even though it was a very warm sunny day the famous winds from the city made it out to where i fly . Did some onboard video flying with the Katana.. 20-25mph winds and turbulant so i just flew.. no 3D or anything low .

Currently i have 4 planes in this size but only have power set ups and radio gear for two . Its tough when you have planes that fly excellent and look this nice to leave them collecting dust instead of flying . Hopefully i can get the yak back in the air soon .

Flew some patterns and did some other stuff with the trex today. Still working on my flying with the helis and set ups.. i need to do a little more of both more often with the helis .

This is one of my funniest videos with the typhoon.. High winds and i just kept beating on the plane even after it made contact with the ground and other obstacles . Its a older low qaulity video from earlier this year and i used software instead of camera settings to give it the widescreen effect to demostrate the editing software.

Had a lot of fun with the katana today .. and a scrape with terra firma,Asphalt and a curb to be exact . Weather was fairly pleasant,wasnt to cold maybe 35 degrees,clear sky and mild winds of about 10 mph. Ofcourse this is very good flying weather out here lately so ofcourse i had to work on some stuff... inverted harriers,Lower.. Lower.. ok a foot over the street right by a curb isnt such a good idea and after a few passes i screwed up. I had been doing them about 3 to 6 foot up with little correction needed but on second pack 3 to 6 foot wasnt cutting it for me . Damage is repairable and minor considering i was at full throttle trying to recover before the nose came down at about 5 mph airspeed. Unfortunately i didnt have a camera person with so it wasnt in the frame of video at time it hit . On the bright side there was no damage to the motor or shaft . Tore up the spinner and prop though .

Heres first flights video.. really flys high alpha with ease. the flying will only get better with warmer weather and more stick time but i really had fun with it even though my hands were numb .

The weather out here has took a turn for the worst... AGAIN i was up yesterday morning and decided id try and get some outdoor testing in as well as a maiden in on one of my new planes. I nearly lost one of my favorite planes do to weather and pilot error.. missed something during ground check and it made for some extremly difficult flying but i got the plane down safely without a scratch . Heres some stuff ive been working on .
