Just picked up this lightly used Wild Hare 33% Extra 260.
Add the receiver and this bird is airborne. Looks like some of the electric fleet will need a new home.

Another Arizona Mako2 is Born!

In old school horsetrading, Rampman and I came to terms. For other considerations, I agreed to scratch build another Mako2 (Zoom's design) for my flying buddy, Rick.
The plane is built and ready for covering. The balsa airframe weighs in at 4.7oz with four Spektrum S75 servos. My Mako2 has an AUW of 9.5 oz with TP3s730, wire gear and multiple layers of covering. Rick's should be in the same range and fly every bit as well as mine.

Here's the current fleet and the latest addition is the Zivko Edge 540 from Hyperion.
It is the most well behaved electric plane I have ever flown. Very predictable and yet can tumble with the best. A real treat to fly.
