The Shaft25e from S/A is a great build and just as great a flyer. With an AUW of only 34-40 ozs depending on battery pack, it is a floater with a wing loading of around 9oz/sq ft.
Here is a video
and attached are some pics from the vid.

As surely as time moves along, so does progress on Stubby, a reincarnation of a Sig Seniorita kit by designer Ron Daniels of Ontario, Canada.
Stubby must get into the air this year before the THIRD anniversary of it's build start.
To date the fuselage is covered, the week long fussing to give it a proper windshield is over and a sudden inspiration to deck it out in proper "pants" has resulted in it getting some nicely two-toned fiberglas duds to cover up that rubber footwear.
The AXI 2826 motor has been mounted, and will be fed a diet of 4S lipos via a 50 amp Suppo esc with a 5vt UBEC.
The cowl has been two-toned to match the covering quite closely and now the covering is being applied to the wing...all 800 sq inches of it.
Should be ready for the maiden flight sometime in August '08

Wow, what a hoot the Stryker is..powered with a Mega 16/25/3 (1800KV) on a 4S 2100 lipo with APCe 7/5 prop.
An absolute screamer, it can get far away quickly, hence the bright orange covering. I have to get it radared soon as it appears to be near the century mark.
