I have come to the realisation that no matter what type of rechargeable batteries you use, they all need charging. Nickel cadmium has a slower drop off than nickel metal hydride, and makes sense to have in the air over something that will give out, at the drop of a hat. One second fine------ the next dead.

Soon be in the air with my own PC9. Just need to isolate the engine with my isolation rubber mount. Then put the nose-cone on with clearance for the muffler, needle, head and pressure feed pipe. Put some flat Flaps over the existing Ailerons.
Battery will be easier to change and charge. Mounted outside of the aircraft. FPV, really close now, to first flight.
