SPADs, Rants, And A Challenge

We've covered a lot of ground this week with a PSA, a mention of my freshly built Axon Racing Micro Aces P51 from 2DogRC (use Coupon Code "CrashCast" to save 10%!), a personal challenge to you RC junkies out there, and a cool interview with SpadMan!

We say fair-well to our good friend Dorsal this week, as he will be stepping away from the mic for about a month and a half while work tugs at him.

Visit TheCrashCast for the links mentioned in this week's show!

Pushrods And The Whistling Menace

What are they, how do they work, what kinds have I used? What the heck am I talking about? Pushrods, of course (and everything you've ever wanted to know about them)! Also in this show, I mention that I'm expecting to add another bird to the harem. I've ordered a pair of Multiplex Fox's to see just what I can make this plane do.

Be sure you check out AllThingsCrash for the latest pics of the "ObservaShed" as well as some Steals Of The Week that won't be on sale for very long!

Also, you'll certainly want to head over to the podcast page for all of the cool links I've rounded up regarding the Multiplex Fox!

SOTx 2009

What a fun-filled week! I got in the first "real" cuts with the new CNC machine and also got a chance to hang with some really cool SPADders at the SPADs Over Texas 2009 event in Denton, Texas. There were examples of the typical SPADs that I flew years ago, but I was quite surprised by some of the new concepts that people are making nowadays!

Be sure to check out the podcast blog page for some great links this week!
