The plane is all glass, not EPP. It actually was suprisingly light for it's size.
This Saturday kept us on our toes. Wind started out of the North, then moved to the NE (NE bowl) and then about Noon forced us out to the East as the wind shifted to the E/ENE. We had winds of about 5-8mph with some lulls. It wasn't much of sloper day. More "slermal" then anything else.
We had several of the guys out at the FSS #2 thermal contest at the IRKS field this weekend, but actually still had nice sized crowd. Several of our old timers who haven't been up in months were up (Amos, Duke and Jon) added to the crowd.

Saturday was rocking! We had 20-25mph winds with gusts of 35mph. Lead was in great demand and heavy planes were the name of the game. Also we tried out some F3F racing. Miami Mike had setup a timing rig to sight the racers and it seemed to work out pretty good.
