Saturday was great. We had 20mph steady winds with gusts over 30mph. Everyon brought out their "heavy iron". Lots of speed runs and combat. James debuted his Jart and Charlie had a Boomerang to Half-pipe conversion to try out. Our merry group started on the East side but progressed over to the SE bowl as the day wore on. We finally called it quits about 1PM when the sky opened up and we're deluged. Inspite of the rain everbody gave it a 2 thumbs up as one of the best slopeing days we had this year.
Here's some pics Ben sent over last night.

Thanks Ben

Last shot by Mike J. In the background you can see the water truck watering the central East and NE corner of the hill.

Today was much like last Saturday. About a 10mph breeze out of the East, no rain and very hot. We had a fair sized crowd who had quite a bit of fun. We had to stick to the SE corner of the slope facing Powerline Road because of 2 reasons. One, the wind would shift to the SE a few times and two, the landfill had a water truck watering the new grass on the NE corner. That grass on the East side is looking mighty fine! Makes for some nice landings.
On a side note, the first group of pics are from our new member Mike Jackson.

Enjoy and thanks Mike J.

Finally we get a windy day. Well, at least a good 10mph. The last few weekends have been really poor sloper days. This Saturday gave us at least a little hope. As a net result there was a lot more "air traffic" on the slope which resulted in a lot of excitement and mid-airs.
