Just started back on fixing my 1/5th scale Curtis P-6E.. Amazing how much damage hitting an irrigation pipe on landing can do. Ripped the gear off which then punched 2 big holes in the lower wing (those darn pointy wheel pants). ...

A fellow forum member asked "who takes the photos while you are flying" .. That would be "Me".... Yep me... I let others fly them as I take the pics,and hey they pretty much fly like trainers The last set was taken at Shuswap Floatfly, and I had to do a lot of research to see who was competent enough to fly these trainers!!!! Well I could only find on guy willing to take on this big undertaking.. Dave (Mogman), so there you go Dave... You wanted me to 'Toot you r horn" toot toot toot.. Is that enough Toots for you ... But honestly, when I do take photos i have to find someone I can trust and Dave fits the bill...

Well figured I would post a few more of my "for water only aircraft".. Have the Big Bellanca 1/6 scale 126" WS and a Quadra 40 for power.. Then there's the Fokker Super Universal, about a 108" WS with a Quadra also.. And last athe Hansa W29, with a 85" WS and a Saito FG-14...

Just thought I better get this blog started... I'll start with the fact that I'm a floatplane guy.. I mainly fly aircraft off water but do have a few landlubbers.. The photos are a few of the first floatplanes I built..
