Good flying at the point today. Plenty of lift, full load of ballast, lots of sunshine and almost no air traffic. There were three hang gliders up and they were working the thermals to some impressive altitudes. The hang glider shown below had remarkable performance. I have never seen a hang glider climb as fast. I noticed it did not have a king post and I am wondering if that is what made the difference.

Excellent flying at the point today on the south side, 35 to 40 mph winds. Flew my Mini Blade.
