Around December when Blackout introduced another fantastic mini frame, this time its a HEXcopter. It was one of his first video that made me want a mini HEX. On that video, the sound of this Hex is like a Formula 1 car going for the finish line. It took another two months to dive and spend a hefty $219.00 USD on a CF frame. I sold a mini frame to help fund this HEX and cannibalized all the electronics. Two days ago, I received the frame and very impressed of the CF materials and hardware are first class, $219 is worth it.

I decided my build to center every components around the COG as much as possible. I made a simple pdb and tray to bring all six 5.4 grams escs together, above it is where the CC3D and D4R-ii rx going to reside. I'm at a stopping point as I'm waiting for HB king to stock more BS 12 amp esc.

This log is to centralized the progress of this BOHEX build, documentations, videos, pics and modifications. I can see this build as one of my long range project until something better comes along, to this day nothing compares to BOHEX as I know.

Below is the main thread by Blackout which contains a lot of information, video, pictures and build manual (page 15, post 217).
