Slowstick combat over Santa Maria
Last week we were able to get some combat in. This was the fewest planes we've had in thhe air at once, there's usually 6 or more, the carnage happens more often.
Caleb has just gotten a new camera so he missed a few good hits!
I placed an order before christmas of 8 Slowsticks from our lhs, he mistakenly ordered 14, 6 red, 6 yellow no power system and 2 w/ brushless motors. They've all been sold! I took 9 including the brushless ones. I should have ordered some powersytems from hobby king for $15.00 they would work great. $60.00 for the brushless version seemed like a lot with no speed controller.
Enjoy the video (I'm flyin the white one. Set up with a hobby lobby 400xt, carbon rods, and bidirectional fiber tape.)
Thanks again Caleb

ChargerRC Monorial 3D
Caleb got some video today and did another great job editing it tonight!
I built this plane about 5 yrs ago for my dad. It has been through a lot! I didn't have thrust vectoring on it then. It did pretty good spins then but now its pretty awesome! The video is of the second flight with thrust vectoring. I'll try to get some pics of the install of my vectoring system. This is basically the same one I used on my USAF UFO.

Video of my slow hawk & Enticement
Both of these are fun to fly. I've had the hawk for a few years. I have not had any parts break on it and the ripstop nylon has faired well. Still on the stock motor running a 2 cell 1320mah lipo through it. Hopefully these aren't too hard to get anymore.
The Enticement is fairly new to me, can only fly it in 0 to 3mph winds, 0 is best
I'd like to find an indoor place soon, I've got alot of fliers for that.
Thanks Again to Caleb @ www.cmreel.com for the great video!!!
Enjoy!
Sorry, looks like Caleb took the vid down.

Crash of my Eflite Airliner!
The demise of my airliner can be seen here
I have flown this plane about 20 times, so I was not new at it. It seemed like I had some brain fade but I'm not sure. It had been a while since I had flown it. The motor shorted out and burned up the speed control the last time I had flown her. Something could have broke when it was inverted.
There seems to be nothing wrong with the electronics. Batteries are still working well. It was a nice plane to fly, too bad it cost so much for a flying ice chest of foam
I had everything recommended by E-flite in it. It must have cost over $500 to set it up. I had the batteries and receiver already.
Well, enjoy the video. Caleb at www.cmreel.com did a great job at editing!
Thanks!!
