It seemed like the more I flew my Pico TM the more I caught myself trying to use its non-existent ailerons. This morning I resolved Pico aileron-less no more!

I've read in threads that the Pico doesn't do ailerons well. I found there is truth to this. The cantilevered torque rods are unusual. Even with the throws cranked-up the roll rate is slow and the delayed. It doesn't spin at all when it's going straight-up, not a single degree of spin.

But ailerons are a big improvement and were worth doing. In a nutshell, they greatly improve the precision of the limited aerobatics the Pico TM can do and the precison of its flying in general.
