I'm trying to get things moving on the site again, and doing what I can to improve the information on building the designs. I'm going to focus for a while on just getting all the 3D cad done for each layout, so that the final 'product' can be understood.

I just uploaded 2 more pictures for the first missing 'blanks' in the plans page, A5VTAIL2/3. Kind of similar, but then a few of these are versions of basic ideas. I hope some of you will find the time to have a go, and if you do, please post pictures.

The multi motor micro build is over, mine was unsuccessful but still in development. I want to return to site matters soon, but I'm having the Christmas break off, been spending too much free time that I don't have creating something that went nowhere, so when I'm back I want to get little things flying again, starting with that biplane.

Merry Christmas everyone

In case you're wondering where I've gone, I'm concentrating on my entry for the MMMC in the indoor flying forum. This is all I have time for right now, so I'm leaving the bipe for a bit.

It's a cool looking aircraft IMHO, and things are going ok. Drop in in you like the smaller stuff, though this one isn't as small as some of mine.

Hi All

There are some more pictures of the build in the new album now. I think I like the balsa bracing, really adds to the overall look of the plane. I think I'll look at this on some of the others now, but maybe get this one in the air first.

Hi All

As promised, I've stayed away from posting designs, and there is now a new album on the site with some pictures of a new version of the first A5 biplane I did. Wingslayers build log here has prompted a new look at this old plan. Looking forwards, I hope he will have a successful build of his modified version (for balsa, with a 3d fuse), and the new version on the site should have my rc kit on it, if its not too heavy, in the near future. Thanks for looking in.

Hi All

This has just gone on the site, this is just my interpretation of the many similar types, but for the limited size template. The pdf shows another stiffener across the wing middle, didn't have time to update the 3D cad.

Hope you like it. Fly and enjoy!

Hi All

Just put this one on the site, sorry about this one, not sure what I was thinking, but it looks funky. Not built one yet so I don't know its flying characteristics. Not one of the most foam efficient ones. Hope you will like it.

Hi All

There is a new album on the site with some of the first cuts for the Raptor build. BTW, I do know that this is not a perfect replica of an F-22 Raptor, just in case anyone was thinking so. It's just the general planform and design is close, so I nicked the name. That's how I roll...

Hi All

Just uploaded a new plan to the site. This is a bit more ambitious, with some bending and blending required. The second sheet with the cone outline is intended to fit into the fuselage and direct the EDF thrust out to the rear, see if you can get the idea.

Hi All

I just uploaded a couple of new albums to the photo album on the site, please feel free to have a look and see if you'd like to comment on anything. All positive feedback welcomed.

I'm particularly interested in anyone with tips on the Cessna build, and I'll be looking for some info on the best motor mounting method for this, along with the finish. I've never build this big before, and some things like the wings are a real trial to get right. I may need to do another set of these as I think they have a slight twist. Anyway, anyone with more skills than me welcome to give tips.

Hi All

Finally got around to working out how to do a photo album. There are some of the shots that I have of some of the builds that I've done so far. I'll go through and add some more with flight details and tips in the next few weeks. Some are no more, being of poor construction/flying ability and me having limited space in my garage, as well as being nagged by SWMBO to declutter. I hope you will get something from them, I can't allow any comments yet (not sure how to do this securely that's all) so if you have a question please post it here.

I'm mid flow on the Cessna 185 build now, so if anyone's interested I'll post something soon. If I can work out how to do another album, I'll do that.

Hi All

New new bipe plans on the site, bipe2 is a clean template, all in, bipe3 not quite. Hope you like them both. Working on some new biplanes now, got a bit of a bug with them.

Hi All

I won't be posting as much now, other things to get on with (like building them), but I liked this one and wanted to put it out there. I think the wing area is ok, and there are some optional cut lines in there for your choice of wing shape etc (the dashed lines). This is going to be next build no.3 after a Cessna 185 and a Raptor I've liked for ages. I printed this at 4 sizes - A3, A2, A1 and A0, and will choose the one I build when I get to it. Hope you like it, let me know (or not) if you build it.

Fly and enjoy!

Addition: Forgot to say, there is no connector between 'fuse' and top wing, please sub your own ideas.

Hi All

Just uploaded a new picture for this, it's about a third of the way down the page on the site. This one is a bit more involved build wise, although I think you can get the idea from this picture.

I hope you will like it. Fly and enjoy!

Hi All

I just wanted to get this out there, so the pdf isn't finished yet. This one is based on a 'real' design, the Super Falcon, and I just wanted to try my hand at something you might sort of recognise. I'll post the updated pdf soon with labels etc. Please let me know if you like it, or any further improvements.

Tiny error, I managed to forget the nose piece on this, so I've just updated the pdf on the site. The 'ruddervator' pieces are a bit smaller, but I think they will be the correct size now.

Hi All

Just uploaded a new plan to the site. Line the letters up for orientation etc. The new site is coming, but slower than I wanted, as I've decided to reformat the plans to go on the new version. I hope you will like this one, remember this is still 2mm Depron, or similar, for a super light aircraft. There are a few options on the power plant - I'd like to try embedded props on this one, but you will have to choose your own position. I think 2 edfs fore of the elevators might work, and theres always the obvious up front prop option.

Hi All

Just posted a new plan, A4GLIDER1. The A4's are still supposed to be built from 2mm depron, but if you have any other thoughts please let me know.. It's intended to be ultralight, don't forget, so stick the stiffening only where needed. With this one, I'd suggest the 2 wing rods and a couple of carbon strips (or whatever), one under the fuse on the flat edge, and one buried just above the wing line.

Any pictures greatly appreciated.
