Hey guys, So here's the deal...
I just recently purchased the Hangar 9 J3 Cub 40 ARF (80" WS) from my LHS and after about a week of putting her all together she took her first maiden flight this evening. Flight went great, all in one piece still Now my only problem with this thing is that it took me about 30 minuets when I got to my flying field just to connect the wing struts to the fuselage. It uses 4 1/2" hex bolts with locking nuts. It is soooooo unbelievably difficult to get these things on while using a little wrench and a tiny hex wrench. I can barely get any turns in since the strut mounts so close to the fuselage and takes way too much time. Was curious if anyone else has experienced this problem with this plane and if there is some kind of easy clip or something I could buy as a replacement that would save me much time and not having to leave the field with a headache? Any help would be appreciated!
