Hey guys

I got a new radio.....The highly talked about Taranis X9D plus. I purchased this from GetFPV last Sunday the 25th and received it Friday the 30th, not bad on turn around.

A little on my own transmitter history, I first started with a dx6i . It was a really good unit to begin with, though limited me once I began my road to FPV. The next setup I got was a turnigy 9xr with orange module. This help get me off the ground via FPV for a decent price, but had it's own draw backs, such as the gimbal pots being really stiff, and I really wanted to use telemetry!

First impressions the the Taranis X9D Plus is very nice! The overall quality you can feel in your hands, moving the sticks, and adjusting the switches is what makes this transmitter stand out from the rest. Not to mention the capability of the OpenTx software as well as price point is what makes this hands down a top contender. I'm now seeing what all the fuss is about!

Received some new motors from witespy. These are the new 2208 1800kv. Initial impressions are really good. They all have a nice spin, long motor leads, and a standard prop adapter as well as a t style prop adapter.

Hope to get these mounted soon on an acro quad to further test performance.

Past few months I've been building different quads for people. Mainly the ever popular mini h quads. I noticed that a lot of the big name guys that design these frames only offer the frames, and not a full build. Some do offer ARF's too.

After a few builds I wanted my own space to show and share AND offer rxr's on popular models.

This is for those who want something ready to go just add your own receiver

Finally got this frame in! Waited for awhile now, and all in all it looks a lot better in person rather than starring at pictures on the screen. Really nice cuts of the carbon fiber. The edges are seamless no nicks or scratches, just plain beautiful!

This build will be a 4s capable build using high voltage F12a esc's accompanied with the Lumenier FX2206-13 2000kv motors.

I haven't decided of the fc as of yet, but and leaning towards the acro naze 32, which is what I use on my personal builds, or may give the Lumenier branded CC3D a try. I 've heard good things about them, so I may give it a go!

Stay tuned more to follow!

I'm wanting to offer up my time and experience to help those who are new or just doesn't have the time to build/complete their own projects.

The whole idea is to design and put up a website to illustrate current builds, past customer builds, and to inquire about getting your multirotor built.

You can see some of my other blog's a few builds I have completed. If you find that you're interested just shoot me a pm. We can discuss detail on what your wanting done and I can get you an estimate and turnaround time on completion.

A simple build you can send me all your components i.e. frame-motors-esc's-fc and I'll do the rest as far as connectors, soldering and making sure the build is as neat as possible.

I know a lot of learning comes from building your own, but I believe there are many out there that would like to skip the whole build process completely AND FLY

Any questions send me a pm.

I'll be building this in the next few weeks! It's going to be a great small acro platform.

Read up on it: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1979915

All credit going to Soma creator of the Warpquad!

Prepped looming process. Very easy to achieve this. Tho you do need a good soldering iron that is one thing I'm finding out.

-Esc's prepped for motor attachment. This is the tedious process, but reduces a lot of unnecessary weight.

Overall build is going quite well. It's pretty straight forward as far as building it from the ground up goes.
Decent soldering skills is need to add to that also is a good soldering iron setup. When mounting the motors the leads had to be shortened then re tinned. To achieve this a really hot iron is needed. Standard low wattage irons won't cut it....Continue Reading

I built this a little over a month ago. I have done a few flights on it, and so far it's amazing. The frame itself is in it's own class due to the fold-able arms. This has been in my opinion my best build!

Check out BAH mini h if you haven't already!
