I've been flying my MCPX quite a lot lately, and I'm getting better and beter doing circuits through my back yard. Though the MCPX is so affected by the strong winds we get some times, I decided to move to something a little bigger. I was lucky enough to find this 130X on BayRc and picked it up today. Appart from the occasional tail wag (dirty servo track I suspect) It flies GREAT!
First time writing on my blog! After about a weeks work, I've finished my Carl Goldberg Yak! It was a long debate to choose servos, but I finally went with Power HD 8315TG servos on all the surfaces except Elevators. Ive heard nothing but good things about them! Also, this is the first airplane I will be using an A123 pack in, and I'm hoping for good results! Maiden will be this wednesday!
As a side note, the MCPx in the background has become my most flown RC. I have 7 batteries I fly through every morning and afternoon. I cant tell you how much fun flying in your own back yard is! And for my first heli, I love the durability of the MCPx!
