The wings and fuselage are covered in 3mil CP laminating film from http://www.alofthobbies.com/ . It was very easy to work with and was ironed on at 220 degrees. Econokote goes on top of that for the red color with trim tape for the yellow. The wing has an extended tapered trailing edge made from Depron. Its nice to have a more finished trailing edge that does not end in a large blunt edge. The rudder and stabs are also Depron. The stabs have 3/16 carbon tubes in them. The entire airframe is first wet sanded with 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper. The vertical stab gets built up with balsa and 1/32 plywood. The fuse has two 3mm carbon tubes as pushrod guides. They are keyed into the balsa of the vertical stab and ties everything together. Stock motor with Graupner 10x8 prop. Stock elevator and rudder servos with two 9gram servos for flapperons. The fuselage is very stiff with the mods and the flying stab works great. I'm using a Radian Pro wing tube as its stiffer.
