Well I've been bugging Dave from lightflight.com for some time to finish up the Demon build which Atom did for him. So with a little inspiration I took it from him and finished her up.
So far the data is pretty impressive:
ARC 28-47-2 2170KV
6S TP 3850 Extreme packs ( 2 x 3S 3850 Extreme packs)
Suppo 100A ESC
5V UBEC
5x5 APC E prop 57A (1.1kW) 36k rpm - 170mph pitch speed and 4.93lbs of thrust
6x4 APC E sport prop 72A (1.3kW) 32400rpm - 122mph pitch speed and 5.46lbs of thrust
I would have put the Eagletree on there for better data but I had a run in awhile back with the Eagletree and a Suppo 100A ESC and I didn't want to burn out Dave's electronics.
Merry Christmas Dave, this one looks to be a pretty fast wing!!!

Well I decided to try something out since I had 4S2P or 2 X 2S packs ready to go for some tests. I have done 4S 910 tests and they hold up pretty darn well so I thought maybe the 1320's can hold better voltage.
I guess the data speaks for itself, it looks like the 910's hold their own better than 1320's because the rpm data shows a major delta. From prior calcs it looks like the 910 packs are putting out about 7k more rpm. It could be the condition of the packs.
Test 1 was with 4S and 4.1x4.1
Test 2 was with 4S and 4.5x4.1
I would have expected the 4.1x4.1 to be much higher rpm.

Well after sanding, painting, sanding some more, not liking what I saw, painting again, sanding, painting, sanding, and then sanding again. It's finally done.
Guess I'll stick some 4g servos and a 10g outrunner in there to set some speed records!!!

p.s. I will be using Gary's hold down setup for this ride as it will be the easiest to get to the powersystem for switchouts. I saw Gary's and it held down real nice and tight!!!
