Started with my stock mcx2. Flew her for about two days and felt the need for more performance and agility, so I decided to move to the longer swash balls. Apparently I'm a brute, because I managed to detach the short balls from the swash plate and one off a main blade, so technically my build started with new lower blades ( and three more 150 batts )
Once I got her back together I found this thread started by valiant and a group of passionate hobbyists all talking about this little bird and how much can be done with it and was inspired to go for more performance. (thank you)
I've come to accept that I'm the type of person who can't just leave well enough alone. Every car, every gun, every toy I own, can and will be improved. I believe that good can become great, great can become amazing, and no matter how good something is, you can still make it your own with a little customizing. So, with that in mind, I started simple- with a complete overhaul
I took her down to the frame.
Replaced almost everything I could with aluminum and carbon fiber and oiled her up.
