I bought an A10 from Guan-Li a few months ago and since I have started scratch building planes this one went on the back burner for a bit. It was half painted in panzer grey and when I got back to it today I decided to make a tasty change on the paint scheme. I was originally going to paint the whole thing panzer grey, then when I started painting the fuse and I changed my mind. The fuse was the last part to paint and I was running down to one small can of panzer. I decided to base it out in flat black so that I wouldnt run out of the grey when I went to finish it. As it turned out the can of flat I had went a lot longer than I expected and since the fuse was mostly covered I decided to just finish it in flat black and see what it looked like with the grey parts attached. After it was dry I brought it in, unmasked, and started dry fitting parts. It turned out really stealth looking, the grey is just light and different enough from the flat black that theres a subtle difference that breaks up the finish. I think it looks neat and wanted to share. Its a poopy little plane, but I bought it just to have some side fun while Im flying the big guns!
