Short fun flight and crash...
I had a great session yesterday but I turfed it, no damage!

Geese at the park
I managed to get some stick time between rain yesterday, flew FPV at a new park, did my first dive over some trees, saw some geese.
Check it out!

Fun proximity flying!
Yesterday I did my second day of proximity and I'm loving it! I may have gotten too close a couple times LOL
Tell me what you think.

New ground station setup
Since I'm grounded because of the bad weather I've been working on downsizing my ground station.
I haven't tested it in the field yet.

VirtualDub and Deshaker test
I just did a test using VirtualDub and Deshaker on some footage from a flight I had a couple days ago, interesting results. Still can't make up for shaky piloting though

Finally got to fly today!
I haven't been able to fly in over a month because of the crappy weather here but I finally got out today and it was great!
This is my first HD FPV video and my 29th FPV flight
Nothing special, just a noob bouncing around

Goodbye Winter!
The last couple weeks have been crazy cold and snowing, not to mention the record breaking 6.25 feet of snow we've had all year... Needless to say I haven't been able to fly much this winter and it shows, I've been a miserable bastard lately...
The forecast for the next couple days promises almost zero temperatures and by the weekend finally some positive numbers!
The quad is ready to go! I've made some changes based on some advice I've gotten, I moved my vtx as high as it'll go since before I had it lower on the side of the box which wasn't optimal. I also moved the GPS unit further away from the vtx out onto a rear arm like I had it before.
Here's how it looks now

Updates and upgrades!
There's been a lot of changes to my HT-FPV quadcopter, I've enclosed some of the equipment inside some small plastic project boxes, added an attopilot 90amp voltage and current sensor and I attached a HD Wing Camera II to capture my flights in high def!

Here's the first onboard test of the HD Wing Camera II onboard the quadcopter, I forgot to set dual rates/expo so the quadcopter was a little more twitchy than usual and my fingers were cold.

All systems check out
All systems check out and I’m hoping tomorrow I can do some FPV flying!
I’ve almost got my quadrotor back together and ready for the first flights of 2013. All the electronics check out, the 3DR radio downlink connects to the mission planner, flight mode switches work and the radio is calibrated. All I have to do now is hook up the motors and setup proper rotation, balance some propellers and re-install the video transmitter.

Here's a quick reference to my current PID settings for my HT-FPV frame as of 24.10.2012
Quick reference picture of my Crius to FrSKY rx connections
I was told that the spinners I had on could cause vibrations so I replaced them.
I just discovered something cool about the FrSky FLVS lipo sensor.
I'm running independant batteries for the FPV gear and the quad with a FLVS sensor connected to each battery. I was thinking about the data in/out ports on the frsky and realized I could monitor both batteries with the FrSKY telemetry screen. Only problem is that the telemetry screen shows the data as a 6S battery, but it's the single cell voltage readout that matters.
1, 2 and 3 are from the Tx battery
4, 5 and 6 are the quad's battery
