A few photos of the Winnipeg Model Boat Club on Sunday Mornings 0730 - 1000
the city upgraded the Parks duck pond and gave our club permission to use the facility after much discussion with our club over the rules and regs.
It is a great place to bring my newly acquired Tug to enjoy a Sunday morning. Boating and Coffee a great way to start the day!

This is a shot of my current RTR that I use on the Pond... not a bad boat but a little small compared to the others that show up to sail. No Rudders just dual props with separate speed controls to turn with. (almost like tank operation..lol)
I got this RTR while I was building my own... the USCG Lifeboat... however the lifeboat is turning into a static model and I will have to choose something else to be a new RC model.
In the mean time I try to finish the Lifeboat and already think about my next project to actually turn into an RC Model... I have just purchased a Tug from Tim B. so looking forward to sailing it when it arrives.

My 1st Build... Not going as well as I had hoped but I have been learning a lot
no if only the Cats would stay off the table while the glue is drying. Some painting should come soon.

This is the Ship that I served on as a Sonar Operator in the Late 80's.
I know someone has made a scale model of this ship... would love to do the same someday. Currently this ship is at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean as it was decommissioned and used in a SinkEX. The sinking was featured on Discovery Channel with the title "To Sink a Destroyer"
