I've gotten help on some cheaper batteries and charger that will suffice along with 10 inch props instead of 8.

FROM GOTHELIRC.COM:
Frame/ARF - DJI F450 ARF with motors, props, ESCs - $190
Navigation - NAZA with GPS - $399
2 extra DJI motors - $45.90
2 extra DJI ESCs - $41.90
10 inch Graupner props (8) - $90
Landing gear - $35
Loctite - $3.99
- plus 5% discount with free shipping = $765.50

FROM VALUEHOBBY.COM:
Battery - GForce  30C  2800 mAh 3s  11.1 volt  LiPo x 3 = $60
Battery Charger - GT Power A606-D 50W-6A 6s LiPo - $40

FROM FLYING-HOBBY.com
Futaba 8FG Super 2.4Ghz 8 Channel TX with R6208SB RX - $445

All together, probably around $1310 plus shipping from the last two sites.

Two weeks ago I had little knowledge about RC, very little knowledge and zero experience with MRs. Up until yesterday, I was settled on finding somebody to build my setup.

With reading more and talking to some helpful people, I've decided to build a DJI F450 with NAZA/GPS on my own!

The only things I'm nervous about are the setup/configuration/calibration of the motors, naza/gps, and the Futaba 8FG Super I'm about to purchase. Somebody has offered to give me detailed instructions and settings for those things so I feel a little more comfortable now.

I've been researching prices and may buy my gear by the end of this weekend.

Here's what I'm looking for as of now:

DJI F450 ARF - 190.00
2 extra DJI stock motors - 45.90
2 extra DJI stock ESCs - 41.90
8 inch graupner (8) - 71.60
3x 5400 lipo 35C - 296.85
1x Hyperion 606i AC/DC - 109.95
Naza and GPS - 399.00
Simple/basic landing gear

I have or am about to get all the needed tools.

I just posted some questions about options I have for my DJI F450 that I will soon purchase.

I'm looking forward to learning a bit more by reading and having questions answered. But I really can't wait to get my hands dirty and fly.
