It's good to be back on the blog. Since last I have a new MSR
after a bout with the MSR X which I gave to my son in VT after a number of crashes and repairs. Love the little MSR for indoor flying. The 120 SR is still flying great and having fun flying it outdoors here in SW FL in my culdasac. Happy flying
Tropical Storm Isaac

Due to TS Isaac I have not had a chance to fly. I am located in SWFL so as the storm tracked NW we were continually hit with the outer bands of wind and rain. Although now Hurricane Isaac is now creating havoc along the LA, MS, AL and FL Panhandle we are still having 15 mph winds gusting to 25. hope that things quiet down for tomorrow morning. Luckily no damage here as winds during the storm at this location only reached 35mpm gusting to 45. for those along the northern gulf coast I wish you to be safe.

Unfortunately he is on his way back home to VT. I will miss him but we will keep in touch and keep our flying streak alive. Happy flying!!

I am still flying my 120SR all stock and have had no problems right out of the box...The only thing that I find is the short flight time with the stock batteries of about 4 minutes..I also allow a cool down time for the motors between pack changes. I haven't walked the dog yet here in VT as i do home in FL.

I flew two packs this morning before the wind picked up..I only fly the 120SR in winds of less than 5 mph..

Too windy to fly the 120SR this morning but i was able to fly two packs after dinner as the wind dropped off.

On July 16 ..I flew 2 packs with the 120SR in a light breeze...had to keep on top of the throttle as it tends to pop up as we know with slightest gust.

In VT today my son and I flew. The wind was variable 5-10 mph.
Ed flew his Esky CP2 three packs and I flew my 120SR a couple of packs in light wind. Ed then as the wind built up some flew his FP2.

I have been flying stock E-flite batteries for over a month in the 120SR with
no problem. I have read in the earlier threads that some fliers have had challenges with these batteries?
