Finally got started, the wing is skinned with wiring inside, but I'm waiting for WX to improve so I can go out and sand and glass it. (Thanks TS Issac!) I am planning on using ladies NYLONS as glass cloth to keep wt down.

I lightened the wing by reducing skins to 1/16th vs 3/32, holes in ribs and nacelle ply, but added wt by webbing out to the nacelle ribs to add support to fuse with batteries.

Plan on using 2 x 45 size motors with 3 blade props, 80A ESCs and 4s 3300 lipos. Should result in 1600 watts on 12 lbs.

Any comments will be appreciated.

I have decided to finally get started on my Pica Duellist 240 which I bought in about '92. The kit called for twin .40 nitro engines, so first question is size of motors, ESC and battery packs. From what I have read and seen, it should be a good electric flier, weighting in at about 8 pounds. I see in the wing build that I need to figure out landing gear and wiring before I close them up (Fully sheathed). Probably that will cause me to do the Fuselage first, modifying it to accommodate batteries or ESC. Plans do not show access hatch, so I need to create one.
Does anyone recommend preferred placement in the nacelles of batteries or ESC?
