hello everybody! I recently discovered that there are aluminium front uprights that are compatible with the tamiya hotshot. they are listed as Duratrax Wheel Hub Front Maximum ST (2) on towerhobbies.com

here is the link: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXD427&P=7

the only modification that is needed for them to operate correctly is that you would need to file down the studs on the ball studs because stock, because they would interfere with the axles.

Good luck,

Josh

Hello, I am wondering what the stickiest RC car tire compound is? The local track is closed for the winter and I am new to it. i think that the track is composed for mostly clay, and the car that i am running is a duratrax evader ext2, a 2wd stadium truck. i have had it for a few years now, and i have decided that i want to race it competitively. i will be running a hobbyking x-car 60a brushless esc, and a hobbking x-car 10.5 turn brushless sensored motor with a 7.4v 4000mah lipo battery. the gear ratio that i will be running is a 48p 24t pinion and a 48p 78t spur. any advice or suggestions are welcome.

thanks in advance,

Josh

Hello all, i recently bought some paint for my RC car and it has a lexan body. it urns out that the paint that i bought is supposed to be used for styrene plastics. what i am wondering is can i use it on my rc car's body; and will it stick without flaking?

Thanks in advance, Josh

P.S. the paint is Tamiya TS-52, and the body shell is for a Duratrax Evader EXT2
